Pre-owned IWC Portugieser ref (2005). The Portugieser traces its origins back to the 1930s, when IWC was commissioned to create a wristwatch with the precision of a marine chronometer. The result was a larger, very legible watch that would eventually evolve into one of the most elegant designs in modern watchmaking. This example features a striking reverse panda dial. The dark dial is contrasted by bright white chronograph registers, creating a sporty and sophisticated aesthetic. The high-contrast design prioritizes legibility while giving the watch a distinctive personality that’s still sought after today. The 41mm stainless steel case strikes an excellent balance between presence and wearability. Like other Portugieser models, it features a slim bezel that allows the dial to dominate the watch’s appearance, emphasizing the collection’s clean, open design.
