Pre-owned Rolex Datejust 36 ref 116233 (2015) is the modern evolution of one of the most recognizable two-tone Datejust models. Introduced in the mid-2000s, it replaced the long-running ref. 16233 and carried the classic formula into a more contemporary era. The look is instantly familiar: a 36mm case in stainless steel, an 18k yellow gold fluted bezel, and the signature two-tone bracelet. Rolex refers to this combination as Yellow Rolesor. What sets the 116233 apart are the subtle updates. The case features polished lugs, which give the watch a slightly more refined appearance compared to earlier generations. The bracelet also benefits from solid end links for a sturdier feel on the wrist. The dial layout reflects the modern era of the Datejust as well. Baton-style hour markers replace the thinner stick indices seen on earlier models, giving the dial a slightly bolder look while maintaining the clean Datejust aesthetic.
