Pre-owned Rolex Air-King ref 14000 (1990). Introduced in the late 1980s, the ref. 14000 replaced the previous Air-King generation and remained in production until the mid-2000s, making it a defining reference for modern Air-King enthusiasts. While it still had the clean, time-only design that had always been central to the collection, Rolex made several meaningful updates that brought the watch into a new era. One of the biggest changes was the move from acrylic to sapphire crystal, giving the Air-King improved scratch resistance while preserving its straightforward, everyday-wear appeal. Early examples like this one are powered by the caliber 3000, a reliable self-winding movement that helped pave the way for the later caliber 3130 used in subsequent examples.
