Pre-owned Rolex Cellini ref 6622 (1991) comes from one of the most unique chapters in Rolex history. While the brand is best known for Oyster-cased watches like the Datejust and Oyster Perpetual, the Cellini collection followed a completely different philosophy. As Rolex’s line of non-Oyster dress watches, the Cellini is elegant above all else in precious metals and with refined proportions. It also served as a canvas for some of Rolex’s most imaginative and unconventional designs. The 6622 is a bit different from the familiar Oyster lineup. It features a classic 33mm yellow gold case paired with a leather strap. The dial is clean and well-balanced, decorated here with gold hour markers and two centrally-mounted hands.
