The Oyster Perpetual has always represented the brand in its purest form, featuring a clean time-only display, robust Oyster case, and self-winding movement without any unnecessary complications. It’s also one of Rolex’s oldest collections, built upon two innovations that helped shape the entire brand: the waterproof Oyster case introduced in 1926 and the Perpetual self-winding movement that followed in 1931. Together, those technologies remain the foundation of virtually every Rolex produced today. This example features an attractive blue dial. Rolex has long been known for producing exceptional blue dials, and this one offers plenty of character without being too flashy.
