While the classic Seamaster Diver 300M is a bit more versatile, the Planet Ocean was developed to push deeper into professional dive-watch territory with larger cases, higher water resistance, and more experimental materials. This reference demonstrates exactly how far OMEGA has evolved the platform over the years. Crafted almost entirely from grade 5 titanium, the watch offers substantial wrist presence at 43.5mm while remaining noticeably lighter than a comparable steel diver. The sandblasted titanium dial gives the watch a stealthier, more technical appearance, while the grey silicon nitride ceramic bezel with orange rubber detailing adds a modern contrast collectors immediately recognize within the Planet Ocean lineup.
