Pre-owned Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon ref 311.92.44.51.01.004 (2022). Introduced as part of Omega’s Dark Side of the Moon collection, this model draws inspiration from the Apollo missions and humanity’s journey beyond Earth, while taking the familiar Speedmaster design in a thoroughly modern direction. Instead of stainless steel, nearly every visible component is rendered in black ceramic, giving the watch a stealthy appearance that feels worlds apart from the traditional Moonwatch. The “Pitch Black” nickname is fitting. The 44.25mm case, bezel, dial, and many of the external components are crafted from ceramic, creating a monochromatic look that emphasizes texture and contrast rather than color. Omega cleverly uses Super-LumiNova throughout the dial and bezel markings, ensuring the watch is still very legible.
