Pre-owned Panerai Luminor Marina ref PAM00177 (2006) is cased in lightweight titanium, making it a favorite among Paneristi who appreciate comfort without losing presence. Released in the early 2000s, the PAM 177 is essentially a variation of the PAM 176, distinguished by a small seconds register at 9 o’clock, similar to other Marina models. This example features the newer-style sandwich-style dials that eventually replaced the painted dials, giving it a slightly different aesthetic. Inside the case is the hand-wound caliber OP XI, a COSC-certified movement derived from the reliable ETA 6497-1, which is decorated with traditional finishings as visible through the sapphire crystal caseback.
