Pre-owned Rolex Datejust 36 ref. 126234 (2023) is the latest version of the DJ36, a watch that has been in continuous production since 1945. While many of the same design codes as the inaugural model remain, Rolex has worked tirelessly over the decades to improve the collection with better movements, refined aesthetics, and the finest materials the industry has to offer. Ref. 126234 is the White Rolesor model with a solid Oystersteel case, a matching Oystersteel bracelet, and an 18k white gold fluted bezel. The lugs are perfectly tapered and polished, and the bracelet has solid links for a nice heft on the wrist. This example pairs the silvery metal finish with a sharp blue fluted motif dial modeled after the fluted bezel and dotted with sparkling diamond hour markers. It’s luxurious but not flashy.
