Introduced in 2009, it marked the debut of the 41mm Datejust, featuring a bolder wrist presence compared to the traditional 36mm models that had defined the collection for decades. This first generation is easy to spot thanks to its slightly thicker bezel and broader proportions, giving the watch a more robust look than the later Datejust 41 that replaced it.
