Pre-owned Rolex Date ref 15210 (1990). The Rolex Date has always been the more compact sibling to the Datejust. Same core design, just scaled down to a 34mm case that wears a bit more traditional on the wrist. It’s been a go-to for decades for anyone who likes the Datejust look but prefers something slightly more understated. Ref. 15210 features a remarkable engine-turned bezel, a feature Rolex has since discontinued. Instead of a fully fluted or smooth finish, it features alternating fluted and polished segments that line up cleanly with the hour markers, giving the watch a subtle sense of structure. It’s one of those small design touches that’s easy to miss at first, but really adds character once you notice it. The white dial is crisp, decorated here with Roman numerals and doorstop hour markers for a bit of variation. It’s simple, but not boring.
