Pre-owned Rolex Submariner ref 124060 (2022) is the latest evolution of Rolex’s legendary no-date dive watch. Introduced in 2020, it replaced the long-running ref. 114060 and brought with it a number of meaningful upgrades while preserving the clean, symmetrical design that has made the time-only Submariner a favorite among collectors for decades. One of the most notable changes was the case size. Rolex increased the diameter from 40mm to 41mm, but the redesign went beyond simply adding an extra millimeter. The lugs were slimmed down and the overall proportions refined, resulting in a watch that many enthusiasts feel wears more balanced and elegant than its predecessor despite the larger case size. Beneath the dial, the ref. 124060 introduced the next-generation caliber 3230. This modern movement incorporates Rolex’s Chronergy escapement, a blue Parachrom hairspring, and a robust 70-hour power reserve. The result is greater efficiency, improved resistance to shocks and magnetic fields, and the kind of reliability collectors have come to expect from a modern Rolex sports watch.
