Pre-owned Omega Speedmaster ref 310.92.44.50.06.001 (2025). The Speedy was famously the first watch on the Moon and has been a fixture on the wrists of NASA astronauts during every lunar mission since. More recently, the watch was part of the mission kit as humankind returned to the Moon for the first time in 50 years aboard the Artemis II. That kind of out-of-this-world legacy certainly deserves attention, as no other watchmaking brand out there can claim to be the first on the Moon. That’s why Omega has understandably released several iterations of what is now lovingly referred to as the Moon Watch. The example you see here is clad in grey ceramic and is appropriately called the “Grey Side of the Moon.” It has a skeleton dial, giving us a clear view of the laser-ablated main plates, decorated to resemble the Moon’s surface. The dial shows the near side of the Moon, while the case back shows the far side.
