Housed in a 44.2mm 18k 5N gold case, it pairs classic Portugieser styling with one of IWC’s most celebrated complications: the perpetual calendar. The silver dial is organized into four sub-dials that display an impressive amount of information while still feeling balanced. You’ll find the date and power reserve at 3 o’clock, month at 6, day of the week with running seconds at 9, and the beautifully detailed moonphase at 12 o’clock. There’s even a four-digit year window at 7:30. The moonphase itself is incredibly precise, requiring adjustment only once every 577.5 years. Inside is IWC’s caliber 52311, an in-house automatic movement with Pellaton winding and a remarkable 7-day (168-hour) power reserve.
