The ceramic bezel features a uni-directional design to prevent it from rotating backward if knocked around underwater. This feature is vital in properly timing decompression stops and other diving events where every single second counts. The Omega 232.30.42.21.01.001 also sports a matching black dial with large, luminescent hour markers and hands for optimal legibility in the ocean and a convenient date display for land adventures. It measures 42mm in diameter and sports a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, transparent case back, time zone function, and self-winding caliber 8500 with a 60-hour power reserve.
